That saved me minutes of rendering time in the old app. Thanks to FRV, I could immediately preview my RAW files at lightning speed, sort out the ones I wanted to keep and then import *those* into LR. two years ago? The trouble for me was that my old copy of Lightroom (and old Mac) was so slooooow rendering RAW files that I felt my life wasting away, waiting for it to finish.
